Fun way to learn cursive writingThis workbook provides lots of opportunities to learn and practice the upper and lower case cursive letters for elementary age students as well as for teens and adults. Designed by Linda Silbert, PhD and Al Silbert, EdD, the letters are presented in a logical sequence based on progressive hand movements, beginning with lower case and moving onto upper case.
Students are rewarded immediately by being able to write familiar words and sentences using only the letters they've learned up to that point. In addition, familiar words such as the days of the week and months of the year are introduced. Also, sentences, both serious and silly, are provided to introduce four parts of speech: nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs.
While all children can have fun and learn from this book, it is specifically designed for right handed writers. A left handed version will be available in the near future.
Some of the many comments:
“Because they no longer teach cursive writing in school, my son had to learn reading and writing in cursive at home. This book is all he needed to get him going. --Jason's Mom, Westchester, NY
