Learning the Alphabet Should Be Fun!
A variety of activities in the Alphabet FunBook gives young children an opportunity to practice sight identification, tracing and writing of upper and lower case letters, involving both visual and graphic inputs.
Letters are grouped to follow the ABC song to make learning easier—four letters at a time (except for Uu-Zz), with each new section building on the foundation from the group before.
On the way to learning the letters, children also learn to recognize and name geometric shapes and to recognize by sight and read the color words "red," "blue," "green," "yellow," "orange," "purple," "brown" and "black," as both colors and basic shapes are an integral part of every page.
The Student Form of the Tiger Tuesday Reading Inventory is included in the back of the FunBook as an ongoing measure of individual student progress.
